She works in a variety of media including installations, stills, and moving images. The artworks of Mayra Vilar Lins involve her observation toward the reproduction system of creatures and vegetation. She is apt at revealing details via images and assigning them with certain psychological qualities. In addition, Marya Vilar Lins excels at transforming linguistic meanings into elements in her installations. In "Every Single Thing Has Its Infinity", the artist creates a genesis-like scene: a primeval body, wandering through a fantastic, mysterious space full of light reflection. The artist describes it as a state surrounded by an unseen, unthinkable, inaudible "flow".
